Ameenu Shardow appointed new Dreams FC General Manager

Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have elevated Ameenu Shardow from the position of Administrative Manager to General Manager of the club, the club has announced.

Shardow who has long worked as the Admin Manager of the club has acquired enormous knowledge on the job hence his new role.

The new structural changes in the management of the club has been necessited by the departure of Kurt E.S. Okraku as Executive Chairman of the club.

Kurt who was the Executive Chairman of the club left his role since his election into office as the President of the Ghana Football Association.

His new role as the boss of Ghana football meant his previous role at Dreams FC became vacant compelling the club to take decisions to restructure their management.

Shardow joined Dreams FC in 2016 after ending his marriage with Ghanasoccernet as a writer/reporter.

The former Ghanasoccernet.com reporter was officially unveiled as the Administrative Manager of the club on 7th January 2016.

The fast-rising adminsitartor who was born in Accra attended Labone Secondary School and also holds a Bsc in Economics having graduated from the Central University College of Ghana in December 2015.

This mutually beneficial deal will make Hisense the Official Household Electronic partner of the Porcupine Warriors

Asante Kotoko have announced the acquisition of Brazilian international Midfielder Fabio Dos Santos Gama on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old penned down a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, the club revealed on Friday.

Game is expected to join his teammates soon ahead of the commencement of the 2020-21 season.

The Porcupine Warriors have added to their squad a Brazilian midfielder who joins after completing his deal in the Scandinavian world

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have signed Brazilian midfielder Fabio Dos Santos Gama in a two-year deal, the club has announced on Friday.

The 28-year-old joins the Kumasi-based club as a free agent after concluding his deal with Swedish lower-tier side Jonkoping IF.

With Kotoko seriously eyeing the top-flight and aiming for at least qualification to the group stage of Caf Champions League, coach Maxwell Konadu has been busy in the market and seems to have gotten all his desired players.Gama, who has also played for Varnamo and Botafogo arriving, has become the tenth signing since the transfer window was opened couple of weeks ago.

 Ghana goalkeeper Razak Abalora, former Atalanta defender Patrick Asmah as well as Andrews Appau, Abdul Latif Anabila, Evans Adomako, Kwame Opoku, Yusif Mubarik and Emmanuel Sarkodie are the other new players to have joined the club.Kotoko are currently in Koforidua for their pre-season tour and would like travel abroad to fine tune before the season kicks off on November 13 according to reports in the local media.

Hearts Of Oak goalie Richard Baidoo joins Karela United

Karela United have secured the services of goalkeeper  Richard Baidoo of Hearts Of Oak on loan ahead of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.

Baidoo, 22, has been asked to move out on a loan due to lack of much playing time.

The Phobians, currently, have Richmond Ayi, Richard Attah and Benjamin Mensah and, young Baidoo falls down the pecking order.

He has joined the Anyinase-based side to improve and enjoy much playing time.

The former Red Bull Academy product  previously played on loan at second-tier side Samartex FC during the truncated 201 20 season.
 

Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim puts in transfer request

The future of the young shot-stopper with Porcupine Warriors has been ranging ever since Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora arrived

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has demanded to leave the club this season three weeks to the start of the season, Oyerepa FM has reported.

The 18-year-old, who is currently on national duties with Black Satellites, believes he will not get playing time this season if he decides to stay with Kotoko despite head coach Maxwell Konadu assuring him that he is part of his plans.

Kotoko currently have in their camp Kwame Baah who became first choice in the just truncated league ahead of captain Felix Annan. Also, the club confirmed the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Abalora last week and it is widely speculated that the former WAFA shot-stopper will command starting place which will leave Danlad down in the pecking order.

Danlad impressed on loan at Berekum Chelsea last season before it was truncated due to Coronavirus disease and reports suggest that the club is willing to get him back on loan.

Meanwhile, King Faisal and Bechem United have also expressed their interest to strengthen their squad with him.

Kotoko release another first-team player

Asante Kotoko have released another first-team player, according to Kumasi-based Oyerepa.

Midfielder Martin Antwi has been axed by the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Oyerepa FM reports that Maxwell Konadu and the management team on Thursday, October 22, 2020, told the 26-year-old to look elsewhere after being deemed as surplus to requirement.

Per the reports, Karela United have shown interest in the former WAFA graduate and it is left with the player’s consent.

Interestingly, Antwi is currently in the camp of the team at Koforidua preparing for the upcoming season.

Antwi made 10 appearances, scoring a goal in the cancelled 2019-20 Ghana Premier League.

He joined the Reds on a three-year deal in 2018 after an unsuccessful spell Egyptian side FC Masr.

Inter Allies Head of Technical Henrik Lehm arrives ahead of the new season

Head of Technical – First Team Henrik Lehm has arrived in the country ahead of the upcoming season.

The Danish trainer has already had two training sessions with the squad.

Henrik spent time with Allies as head of technical (first team) during the second truncated league earlier this year where he had excellent stint.

The Danish who holds a UEFA Pro – License has been coach for 41years.

He has also been a coaching instructor with the Danish FA for twenty years.

Hearts Of Oak announce Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto as new Technical Director

Ghanaian giants, Accra Hearts Of Oak have announced Portuguese trainer Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto as the new Technical Director of the club.

The Portuguese is set to arrive in Ghana to lead the technical unit of the Rainbow Club ahead of 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.

Reports indicate that the Portuguese Coach will not only be a Technical Director but have oversight responsibility on Senior Side.

He is expected to work with the current head coach Edward Nii Odoom, who reports suggest will made assistant.

Nii Odoom who has performed the dual role since the sacking of Kim Grant in 2019.

The 46-year-old has previously handled Angolan clubs Clube Recreativo da Caala and Recreativo de Libolo.

He also coached Ethiopian giants Saint George SA.

Pinto last handled the FC Famalicão U23 from September 2019 to June 2020 playing 26 matches, winning just 4, losing 11 and drawing 11.

Hearts are preparing for the commencement of the new season scheduled to start November 13.

They travel to play Aduana Stars in the opening fixture at Dormaa.

OFFICIAL: Kotoko complete the signing of top-notch defender Andrews Appau

Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of young centre-back Andrews Kwadwo Appau, the club has announced.

The 18-year-old highly-rated defender joins the Porcupine Warriors from Division One League side outfit Bofoakwa Tano FC.

He penned down a long-term deal of 4 years after a successful medical early this week.

He had previously played for King Faisal and colts club, Depo Stars.

Appau was among the second batch of 70 players invited by Coach Karim Zito for Ghana U20 camping last month. 

Asante Kotoko have already signed Kwame Opoku, Razak Abalora, Yusif Mubarik, Emmanuel Keyekeh, Abdul Latif Anabila, Patrick Asmah, Emmanuel Sarkodie and Evans Adomako Wiredu.
