Accra Hearts Of Oak have augmented their Management Team with the appointment of William-Alexander Coleman as a professional Chief Operations Officer.
Coleman holds an MBA in Sports Management from the LaLiga-UCAM University, Spain.
He also holds Bachelors’ degree in Economics and Sociology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Sports Marketing from then LaLiga-UCAM University in Murcia, Spain.
He is an experienced sports operation officer and expected to bring on board his enormous knowledge to bare.
South African top-flight side Cape Town City FC have announced the signing of Medeama SC striker Prince Opoku Agyemang.
The Ghanaian International joins the Citizens on a one-year deal with the option to extend to June 2024, according to a club statement.
The Black Stars B striker was phenomenal for Mauves and Yellow in the cancelled Ghana Premier League, scoring 11 goals in 14 appearances and also providing three assists in the process.
Agyemang was part of the Ghana team that finished runners-up at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations held in Senegal.
He signed for the Tarkwa-based club prior to the commencement of last season’s league after an explosive performance for Ghana second-tier side New Edubiase United FC.
Centre-back Andrews Appau has confirmed holding talks with Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko.
According to the Bofoakwa Tano defender, he has completed his medical which was successful but that he is yet to sign an official contract.
However, he is expected to join the team’s training camp in Koforidua very soon after completing the transfer process in the coming hours.
Appau, who played for Kumasi-based King Faisal before joining Division One League side Bofoakwa last season indicated that he is ready to fight for a position.
“I have finished with my medicals with Kotoko, will be joining them in Koforidua soon. Am ready for the challenge, praying that all goes well and we will deliver for the club, ” Appau Andrews told Oyerepa FM.
“I have played for King Faisal so I know Kumasi and how the supporters are passionate about the club. I am yet to sign an official contract, ” he added.
Appau was among the second batch of 70 players invited by Coach Karim Zito for Ghana U20 camping last month.
He also played for Depo Stars – a colts club in Kumasi before joining King Faisal.
Asante Kotoko have already signed Kwame Opoku, Razak Abalora, Yusif Mubarik, Emmanuel Keyekeh, Abdul Latif Anabila, Patrick Asmah, Emmanuel Sarkodie and Evans Adomako Wiredu.
The testing of players, coaching staff and officials of the 18 Premier League clubs will begin on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
This is part of preparations towards the 2020/2021 football season that is expected to commence on November 13, 2020. The first club to undergo the tests is Dawu based Dreams FC.
The testing of players and officials, an alliance between the Ghana Football Association and the government covid-19 task force is part of efforts being made to ensure that football is played in the safest possible way.
All registered players of the clubs, coaching staff and officials will undergo the test for the purposes of competition integrity, fairness and transparency.
The GFA is also working hard to put forward measures to ensure that games are played under strict covid-19 protocols for a successful 2020/2021 season.
Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of a young Central defender Andrews Appau to augment their squad ahead of the upcoming 2020-21 season.
Appau, who plays for First Division side Bofoakwa Tano is close to completing a deal to the Porcupine Warriors, according to head coach of the side Mohammed Ibrahim.
Speaking to Nimde3 FM Total Sports, Ibrahim revealed the deal is almost done.

Ghana international midfielder Winful Cobbinah has been granted Albania citizenship and passport which could pave the way for the former Hearts of Oak playmaker to switch allegiance to play for the European country.
Albania President Ilir Meta granted full citizenship of the south-eastern European country and together with it came a passport that would enable him to freely move in many European countries, Ghana’s leading football news outfit Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.
Cobbinah, who guided Ghana to win the Wafu Cup of Nations trophy just two years ago, has been in explosive form for Albanian top-flight side TK Tirana since joining them after that tournament in Cape Coast.
But the leader of the Albania government granted citizenship to the KF Tirana midfielder after several public calls from ordinary citizens of the country for Cobbinah to be recognised for his talents and exemplary conduct.
The 29-year-old has been granted the shock full citizenship even though he has spent just two years in Albania as five years of continous legal stay is required to apply for citizenship.

Mohammed Kudus (born August 2 in 2000) reveals a large part of his past on his first working day in Amsterdam. During his presentation he wears a black shirt with the text ‘Nima Native’ on it.
Nima (City of the King) is a popular and populated neighborhood in Accra, where a large nubmer of the people, mostly Muslims and speak the Hausa language, work hard to make a living. In the Kudus’ household there is an example.

In an earlier interview in Denmark, where he played for Nordsjaelland, Kudus hinted that his family was neither rich nor poor in Nima. When Skovgaard gets questions about Nordsjaelland at Heerenveen, he invariably states that, despite his eighteen years, Kudus would immediately be the best player in Denamrk. “He was that good already. What you in the Netherlands don’t know about him yet? He is caring and humble. With the months he crawls out of his shell. Just watch his dancing later. ”
Kudus will also adapt quickly in the Netherlands, predicts Laursen. “I say that because he has a lot of discipline. He never missed a workout here in his time. In fact, he has never been too late. ”

The National Sports Authority has in a shape turn of events withdrawn their earlier directive of charging fees on Ghana Premier league clubs in the use of the the Accra sports Stadium.
A statement released by the Management of the Sports Authority said the intervention of the Minister of Sports, and concernems raised by other stakeholders necessitated the withdrawal.
“The management of the National Sports Authority has withdrawn the new rates for the usage of the Accra Sports Stadium with immediate effect. Management will meet the clubs affected at 1pm today at the Accra Sports Stadium” the statement read.
The Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku expressed shock at the decision of the NSA and gave hint of meeting the NSA to discuss the issues at hand.
