Berekum Chelsea continued their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League with a 3-0 win in a high-profile friendly game against Nsoatreman FC on Saturday.
The pre-season exercises, which forms part of the Bibiries’ preparatory activities for the upcoming season was played at the Golden City Park.
Two first-half goals from Atta Agyei Paul and Michael Quaicoo, as well as another from Solomon Obilitey Commey after the break, gave one-time Ghana Premier League winners a convincing 3-0 victory over Division One League(DOL) side Nsuatreman FC.
Coach Michael Hesse-Odamten’s charges are currently holding their pre-season camping as they hope to continue the impressive performance they exhibited in the truncated season.
The Ghanaian top-flight is such to commence November 13 after the transfer window was shut on October 31.
Berekum Chelsea will play as guests to Legon Cities in their opening fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Accra Hearts of Oak were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Ebusua Dwarfs at the GlowLamp Soccer Academy Park.
Coach Edward Odoom’s side started the match on a good note as they piled up pressure on the the Crabs lads to snatch the opener via a spot-kick.

Striker Ishmael Antwi levelled the score for Ebusua Dwarfs to end the first department in a one-all draw.
Hearts of Oak made changes in their line up as Patrick Razak, Victor Kwaku Aidoo and Isaac Mensah were introduced for the second half.
Hearts of Oak continued their impressive output as Victor Aidoo and Michelle Sarpong tormented the backline of Ebusua Dwarfs.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw as both teams prepare for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak new head coach and technical director Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto has left the club with immediate effect just 7 days after his announcement.
Kumasi based Oyerepa FM has reported that the Portuguese has left the shores of Ghana to his country after disagreement with the club’s board of directors over assistant coach.
Vaz Pinto kicked against the board of directors’ decision to make Edward Nii Odoom the assistant coach.
Odoom has been the Phobians stop gap coach since December 2019 following the sacking of Kim Grant.
The former Saint George SA and Recreativo de Libolo trainer requested for the club’s legends Amankwah Mireku and Lawrence Adjah-Tetteh as his deputies which was rejected by the board of directors.
Vaz Pinto also previously handled Clube Recreativo da Caala.
Pinto handled the FC Famalicão U23 from September 2019 to June 2020 playing 26 matches, winning just 4, losing 11 and drawing 11.
The Cape Coast High Court has ordered the Ghana Football Association to expel Ebusua Dwarfs from the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
It will be recalled in July 2019 that the Court ordered the immediate liquidation of the Ghanaian top-flight side to settle a 21-year debt by the club. The Crabs lads were dragged to Court by lower-tier Great Liverpool over the club’s failure to pay the transfer fee of their player Patrick Villas in 1999.
35-year-old Patrick Villars joined Ebusua Dwarfs in 1999 and spent three seasons at the club before leaving to join Turkish club Trabzonspor.
Cape Coast High Court stated in their letter to the Ghana FA that a Registrar of Companies has been appointed to wind up the Ghana Premier League side to settle the indebtedness. Ebusua have been scheduled to host their regional rivals Elmina Sharks in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League match-week one on November 14.

The Reds’ contingent returned late afternoon on Saturday after rounding up their training activities in the morning.
They spent three weeks preparing for the upcoming 2020-21 Ghana Premier League scheduled to commence on November 13.
Maxwell Konadu’s charges are back home to continue their preparation, having played three friendly games – winning two and drawing one.
They first thrashed division two sides Odweanoma FC 3-0 before they were held to a 2-2 draw by Akosombo-based Krystal Palace. They ended up with the third game on Friday, thumping Division One side Mighty Jets 3-0.
In all, Kotoko netted 8 goals, and conceded 2 goals.
The players have been asked to rest on Sunday and resume for training at the Adako Jachie Training Complex on Monday afternoon.

The Insha Allah boys have captured Ghana Armed Forces personnel for their next season’s campaign. Ghana Premier League side King Faisal FC have completed the signing of Micheal Kwame Amoah on the transfer deadline day. The 23-year-old has joined the Kumasi-based club on a season-long loan deal from fellow Premiership side Dreams FC Dreams FC opted to farm out the winger who joined them in 2018 due to lack of regular playing time at the Dawu-based club under Coach Winfred Dormon.
The lanky attacker who also works as a Military officer was signed by King Faisal after impressing the club’s technical team during a three-week trial. Amoah was once invited for the Ghana U23 team ahead of the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations staged in Egypt but was later dropped.
Accra Hearts Of Oak thrashed lower-tier side Scientific Soccer Academy 4-0 in their pre-season exercise on Saturday ahead of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.
The match which formed part of the Phobians’ preparatory activities for the upcoming season was held at Nii Odartey Lamptey’s Glo Lamb Academy Park in the Central Region.

Legon Cities FC have signed former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan in a one-year deal on transfer deadline day, the club has confirmed.
The 34-year-old was initially on his way to join Asante Kotoko and although Gyan publicly admitted his readiness to join the Porcupine Warriors, the negotiations fell through midway which gave Legon Cities the chance to hijack the move.
Gyan, who last featured in the Ghana Premier League with Liberty Professionals almost two decades ago, comes with a lot of experience following a successful career which took him to Serie A side Udinese, Stade Rennes in France as well becoming the record signing at Premier League side Sunderland in 2010.
Although, Gyan has been globetrotting recently with moves to Al Ain and Alhli in Dubai as well as Shanghai SIPG in China, Legon Cities would be counting on him for goals apart from the commercial effect of his arrival.
Gyan last played for India Super League side North East United FC and our sources have revealed that he will earn over $1 million after completing his deal to Legon Cities.

Aside the arrival of Gyan, former Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba ‘football president’ Mahama has also joined Legon together with David Cudjoe, Jonah Attuquaye, Vincent Adu Gyamfi and defender Michael Ampadu.
