The GFA Disciplinary Committee has announced summary decisions on some misconduct cases.

Champions League: Chelsea run over Real Madrid to set up all-English final against Man City
Chelsea defeated Real Madrid to set up an all-English Champions League final against Manchester City on 29 May.
After a 1-1 draw in Spain, Timo Werner, who earlier had a goal disallowed for offside, headed Chelsea ahead after Kai Havertz’s chip rebounded off the bar.
Real’s Karim Benzema had a low strike and a header superbly saved by Blues goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
But Chelsea dominated the second half and Mason Mount scored late on from close range for a 3-1 aggregate win.
The showpiece in Istanbul will be Chelsea’s third Champions League final, after they lost on penalties to Manchester United in 2008 and then beat Bayern Munich in another shootout in 2012.
Manchester City beat Paris St-Germain 2-0 in the second leg of their semi-final on Tuesday to seal a 4-1 aggregate victory. It will be the second all-English final in three seasons after Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 in 2019.
The Europa League final could also feature two English sides as Arsenal and Manchester United play the second leg of their semi-finals against Villarreal and Roma respectively on Thursday.
Thomas Tuchel was only appointed Chelsea manager in January after replacing the sacked Frank Lampard and has also taken the Blues to an FA Cup final against Leicester City on 15 May.

Samuel Frimpong rejects new Asante Kotoko deal
The workaholic right-back has reportedly rejected the club’s latest contract offer to extend his stay until the end of the season, according to reports in the local media.
Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Frimpong has turned down a new three-month contract extension talks but he’s asking for at least a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old who has been a key member of Coach Mariano Barreto’s side in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season, has few weeks left on his current contract at the club.
According to Pure FM, Frimpong and his representatives have rejected a three-month contract with monthly salary of Gh¢ 3000 from the club’s management.
Frimpong joined Asante Kotoko from Division One League side Bekwai Youth Academy on a three-year deal in 2019.
He was loaned out to fellow Premier League side Karela United by Asante Kotoko during the 2019/20 season which was truncated following the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
The talented full-back was registered by the Asante Kotoko technical handlers for their 2020/21 season’s campaign after an explosive debut season at Karela United during his short loan spell.
Frimpong has managed to feature fifteen (15) times for Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League this season so far.

South Africa announce Belgian Hugo Broos as new Bafana Bafana head coach
South Africa Football Association (SAFA) have announced Belgian trainer Hugo Broos (69) as new
Bafana Bafana head coach on a five-year contract and will earn around US$50,000 monthly.
Hugo Broo is a former coach of Cameroon.
The FA confirmed the decision at a live press conference in Johannesburg on Wednesday, less than two months after firing Molefi Ntseki for failing to qualify for the 2022 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
The Belgian Broos, whose last employment was caretaker coach at Belgium’s Oostende in 2019, returns to Africa since making Cameroon the 2017 AFCON champions.
The 69-year-old’s career journey otherwise features club football in Belgium, Greece, UAE and Algeria.
SAFA settled for Broos as a third choice, after getting rejected by former coaches Carlos Queiroz, Pitso Mosimane, and former player Benni McCarthy, due to the association’s dysfunction and corporate approach.
Broos is expected to lead Bafana Bafana to the 2022 World Cup Qualification, where Ghana, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia form the qualification group.
Sunyani West MP Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah buys Division One League side Nsoatreman FC
The Member of Parliament(MP) for Sunyani West Constituency, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah has taken over Division One League side Nsoatreman FC as the new owner.
The politician – who owns Baffour Soccer Academy in the Bono region – in the last few months has been in talks with the owner of the Zone One outfit Tony Bennett in a move to acquire the club.
According to our sources, the team will now be managed by the leadership of Baffour Soccer Academy.
Based in Twumasikrom, near Sunyani in the Brong Region, the club owned by the Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah – who is the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations – boast of over 65 players in the U-15 and U-17 divisions with several others in the U-10 and U-13 divisions.
The Academy already have a team participating in the Division 2 league in the Bono Region.
The acquisition of Nsoatreman FC means that Baffour Soccer Academy has a higher division now and no more only Division 2.
Management of the academy side on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, welcomed the entire team(Nsoatreman FC) to Baffour Sports Complex as they held their first training on the Alawa Training Field.
Nsoatreman FC currently occupies the 12th position in the Zone One league with 21 points after 19 games.
The young soccer academy boasts of two pitches, one for training and one for matches, modern dressing room, two-storey buildings used as hostels, a swimming pool and an entertainment room, a restaurant, and a 6 unit classroom.
Mahrez double sends Man City into first Champions League final
Manchester City reached their first Champions League final as they sealed a commanding 4-1 aggregate win over Paris St-Germain.
City won the first leg 2-1 and Riyad Mahrez’s low shot stretched their lead at Etihad Stadium after Kevin de Bruyne’s blocked effort.
Mahrez scored again in the second half, finishing off a rapid counter-attack by converting Phil Foden’s low cross.
PSG ended the game with 10 men following Angel di Maria’s red card.
Pep Guardiola’s side need one win to become Premier League champions, having already won the Carabao Cup, and this victory keeps them on course for a treble.
They had gone out in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in the past three seasons and lost in the semi-finals in 2016, but a superb defensive display blunted Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
City will be playing in only the second major European final in their history, after they beat Polish side Gornik Zabrze to win the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1970.
Chelsea and Real Madrid, level at 1-1 after the first leg, play the second leg of their semi-final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday (20:00 BST).
The final is in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday, 29 May.

Daniel Boateng heads new Ghana U-15 Management Committee
Daniel Darko Boateng has been named as Chairman of the National male U-15 team.
The avid football administrator is the founder of Division One League side Akosombo Krystal Palace Football Club.
Mr. Boateng is presently the only certified and recognized IAAF physiotherapist in Ghana and doubles as Head of the Science Department of the Akosombo International School. (VRA schools).
Arif Daud will serve as Vice Chairman of the Committee.

French coach Romain Folz leaves AshantiGold after one month
Young French coach Romain Folz has ditched AshantiGold after just five weeks of handling the side.
The 30-year-old reportedly left the country on Monday.
The development comes a day after the Miners suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Elmina Sharks in the Ghana Premier League.
Sources indicate the former Uganda national team, Pyramids FC and Chamois Niortais FC video/performance analyst expressed his unhappiness about the prevailing situation in a recent meeting with club owner Dr. Kwaku Frimpong.
Folz – who arrived in the country on March 29 and signed a two-year contract with AshantiGold – reportedly received payment of a two months salary after the meeting but went ahead to leave the club.
In his four games in charge of AshantiGold, Romain Folz guided the side to two wins (vs Hearts of Oak and Bechem United) a draw (vs King Faisal) and last Sunday’s defeat to Sharks.
