Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder, Justice Blay is set to return to the Porcupine Warriors set up after his long injury lay off.
The player has started gym works and is currently trying to keep fit.
The former Medeama SC middleman sustained a serious knee injury last two four months during Asante Kotoko training session and he was put under the knife, sidelining him for months.
The 30 year old since joining Asante Kotoko from Medeama last season has been one of the highly rated players but injury has eluded him this season.
Blay returned from injury and has been receiving treatment from doctors, who have given him the green light to start fitness regimes in his race to catching up with his colleagues.

Twenty seven players have been called to report to the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 to begin preparations for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side are currently on standby in the qualifiers as they are look set for the second round of the competition.
Six players of the victorious Black Galaxies team, namely, Augustine Randolph, Suraj Seidu, Dominic Nsobila, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Danlad Ibrahim and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh have been excused from the first week of camping.
The next Africa U-23 Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco next year.

Dormaa-based Aduana Stars have warned its supporters against some unsporting behaviour on matchdays at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in the upcoming 2022/23 new football season.
According to the ‘Ogya Boys’, they will not condone any behaviour of the supporters that will befoul the beauty of the game during home matches when the season kick starts.
The Nana Agyemang Badu I Park has over the years been termed as ‘intimidating grounds’ by visiting teams especially team officials in the hands of a section of the home fans.
However, ahead of the new football season scheduled to kick off on the weekend of September 9-12, 2022, the leadership of the Aduana Stars Supporters Union has laid down measures to avert the canker.
“The Aduana FC Supporters Union with immediate effect has issued a strong warning about the notice of supporters who invade the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, specifically the pitch which is our home grounds during or not on Matchdays to desist from such conducts in the upcoming football season,” it warned in a statement.
The statement signed by the Chairman of Aduana FC Supporters Union Kwadwo Adjei used the opportunity and urged the supporters of the team to be adherent to the directives.
He was quick to say that he was positive that the directives would be adhered to since it is the only means for teeming supporters on matchdays to rally behind the team to “bring laurels to the Dormaa Community.”
Dormaa Aduana Stars will begin their 2022/23 Betpawa Ghana Premier League campaign at home to the reigning MTN FA Cup champions, Accra Hearts of Oak.
As many as eight players have been dropped from the Black Stars squad per the team that played in the 2024 AFCON qualifiers and the Kirin Cup in Japan in June.
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo announced his squad on Tuesday morning with friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua loading ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Definitely there has been casualties and up to 8 players have lost their places in the squad as Addo finalised on a 29-man squad list for the two games.
The biggest casualty is St Gallen goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi who has received massive public backlash in recent months and came in for blame after shipping 4 goals against Japan during the Kirin Cup in Japan.
Hearts of Oak defender Dennis Korsah who was also part of the Kirin Cup squad has also been dropped from the team.
Midfielder Edmund Addo has also lost his place along with Wakaso Mubarak who recently signed for Belgian top-flight side KAS Eupen.
German-based duo Christopher Antwi-Adjei and Okyere Kwasi Wriedt have also been dropped.
Jonathan Mensah and Abdul Mumin won’t be part of the squad for the two games.
Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey who recently completed his nationality switch from England has been handed a call-up alongside Athletic Club’s Inaki Williams who has played 237 La Liga games in a row since 2016.
Germany-based Stephan Ambrosius and Southampton’s Salisu Mohammed are all in the squad to face Brazil’s Selecao in Le Havre on September 23, 2022.
Five new players have been handed maiden call-ups by Otto-Addo for the upcoming international friendly matches against Brazil and Nicaragua later this month.
In the 29-man squad, Brighton and Hove Albion right back Tariq Lamptey, Southampton FC defender Mohammed Salisu, Stephan Ambrosius of Karlsruher SC, Atletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams, and Hamburg SV’s Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer have all been included in the squad for the games.
Richard Ofori, Joseph Aidoo and Antoine Semenyo who missed the Kirin Cup Tournament against Japan and Chile in June this year have all made a return to the squad.
Meanwhile, SV Darmstadt 98 defender, Patrick Pfeiffer has been excluded from Black Stars squad but he is likely to be named in the squad for the Switzerland friendly game before the World Cup in November.
The date with the Brazilians is the first of the friendlies for the Black Stars on Friday, September 23. It is slated for the 25,000-seat multi-purpose Stade Océane in the latter’s Normandy port city of Le Havre in France.
After the match in Le Havre, the Black Stars will then make a trip across the border into Spain to play Nicaragua four days later. The September 27 game comes off at Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco based in Lorca.
The two games form part of Ghana’s preparations for the upcoming 2022 World Cup scheduled to be hosted in Qatar later this year.

Ghana winger Christian Atsu has secured a return to European football by signing for Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor in a free agent deal.
The winger, 30, recently ended a season’s spell with Al Raed FC in Saudi Arabia.
Atsu signed a one-year contract with option.
“We signed a 1+1 year contract with experienced right and left wing player Christian Atsu, who played in clubs such as Everton, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Porto and Malaga.
“Our Honorary President Lütfü Savaş attended the signing ceremony.
“We welcome you to Turkey and wish you endless success with our maroon and white jersey,” a statement by Hatayspor Tuesday afternoon read.
Lying 17th with just a point from four matches so far in the Turkish Super Lig, Hatayspor will hope the arrival of Atsu and other new signings will see a change in the club’s fortunes.
