Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Cameroonian forward Diego Albert Eonde in the ongoing transfer window.
Diego has been one of the most sought-after wingers in the Zimbabwean elite league and scored 12 goals in 17 games for his club, Platinum FC.
The 24-year-old penned a three and a half year deal with the Phobians and is expected to replace countryman, Junior Kaaba who was release by the club few days ago.
Diego is expected to hit the ground running with the Phobians hoping to clinch this season’s Premier League title having exited the FA Cup already after losing to Dreams FC in Accra.
The club will announce his signing in the coming hours.
Aduana Stars forward Emmanuel Gyamfi has been handed a five-match ban and a fine of Gh¢2,000 following his misconduct in the league game against Asante Kotoko.
Gyamfi was charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for a breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019.
A playback of the match footage showed Gyamfi stamping a foot on Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare and pushing down Justice Blay during a Premier League game at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
According to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA, he pleaded guilty to the charge.
Sudanese giants Al Hilal have announced the signing of Black Galaxies midfielder David Abagna Sandan.
The 24-year-old signs a four-year deal with the North African giants.
He was key for Ghana at the 2022 Championship of African Nations but couldn’t inspire the Black Galaxies despite his starring role.
The club announced his signing in a brief social media statement on Monday night.
“Completed successfully in Algeria,” the statement said.
“Let’s welcome Black Stars midfielder David Abagna, a player for Al Hilal for 4 year from Ghana’s Real Tamales.”

A board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has stated that the Black Galaxies have been eliminated from the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) due to the old age of the players.
According to the outspoken football administrator, the majority of the players that represented the country have passed their prime and are now over 35 years old.
In an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe emphasized “our biggest problem is age cheating.
“We have been doing it for years and we are now seeing the effect. Modern football is about speed and stamina and the younger ones are those who can do that.
“75 percent of our players are definitely 35 years plus. I’m telling you and we can verify that using the MRI scan. They look even old if you look at them in the face.”

Ghana’s performance in the 2022 CHAN tournament was nothing to write home about: they lost 2-1 to Madagascar in their first group game, defeated Sudan 3-1 in their second group game before being kicked out at the quarterfinal after a 2-0 defeat to Niger.
Brazilian forward Matheus Medieros De Souza has begun training with Asante Kotoko after his move to the club in the ongoing transfer window.
De Souza, 26, joined the Porcupines on a six-month loan deal with an option for a one year option to extend.

“There are a lot of things that happen in football, Hazard for instance moved to Madrid and couldn’t meet expectations but I hope I will regain my form upon my return to Chelsea”
“Returning to Kotoko is possible, I love Kotoko and wanted to prove a point but sometimes it was difficult getting playing time and it was worrying”
“The expectation is that I regain my form and get to the level that attracted the interest from Kotoko.”
Amankona leaves Asante Kotoko after failing to command a starting position in the team.
He also failed to cut the club’s starting line-up in the previous season under Prosper Narteh Ogum despite showing glimpses of his best during the early stages of his career in the Premier League.
Amankona joined the Porcupine Warriors in October 2021 from Berekum Chelsea.
He was instrumental for the Bibires in the Ghanaian top-flight in the 2020/21 season where he netted 10 goals in 28 matches.
Amankona also helped the club to reach the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup.
He leaves the Porcupine Warriors after helping winning the Premier League title last season.
Asante Kotoko striker Steven Dese Mukwala has revealed that his target is to win the Ghana Premier League goal king prize.
The Ugandan international put up a splendid performance to help the Porcupine Warriors defeat Kotoku Royals on Sunday night.
Mukwala scored a brace as Kotoko inflicted a 5-1 win over the Ghana Premier League newcomers.
He was adjudged with the Man of the Match prize due to his outstanding performance in the encounter.
“My first priority is to make sure that the team wins then the goals will follow because that’s my ultimate goal to be the goal king.” He told StarTimes.
Mukwala has now scored six goals in the Ghana Premier League.

League leaders Aduana FC dropped points yet again by Accra Lions on Matchday 14 of the betPawa Premier League as they were held 1-1 by Accra Lions.
The leaders were seeking to extend their lead at the top of the table following Accra Hearts of Oak’s win at Medeama SC on Saturday but it was the visitors who struck first at Dormaa.
Samari Salifu got the opener for Accra Lions in the 43rd minute to stun the home fans. Lions began the game on a strong footing as they dictated the flow and created some decent chances as well. Back from the break the leaders piled pressure on the visitors in search of the equalizer – that paid off in the 69th minute through Solomon Aboagye.

Finally Real Tamale United moved to the 8th spot after beating Nsoatreman FC 2-0 at Aliu Mahama stadium. Stephen Dankwa Badu scored in the 21st minute before Abdul Manaf Umar added to the tally inside 48 minutes.
