According to Kofi Manu, the action of the football governing body is absurd.

“In Ghana, we know we’ll be voting on December 7 or going to do something that will determine the country’s governance, which King will set that date for a durbar or which church will hold a convention on that same date, ” he told Hello FM
“GFA has a case at CAS and by our regulations, we are bound by the decisions of CAS. We know their decision over this case can make several changes in the administration and governance of our football administration and the way forward.
“So as a reasonable person why should you fixed a congress where stakeholders are going to talk about the forward-looking, and finances of the association.
He indicated that the release of the judgment will affect proceedings during the congress.

A former Ghana International, Stephan Frimpong Manso has asserted that Ghana dominated youth football in the early ’90s because of age cheating.
Ghana won two Fifa World Cup at the Under-17 level in 1991 and 1995. The Black Starlets again played in the 1993 and 1997 finals.
Sharing his opinion on why Ghana has struggled to replicate the same performances in recent years, Frimpong Manso – a former Asante Kotoko player and coach – said the county used overaged players in the success story of the U-17 team.
“In the olden days, we used over-aged players for the U-17 competitions and we are now suffering in the long run. Back then there was no MRI to check the real age of players so we used over-aged players, ” he told Happy FM.
“We don’t get time for the youth side and our obsession of always wanting to win is a problem,” Frimpong Manso further revealed.
The U-17 national team have been struggling to qualify for competition in recent years.

FIFA have ordered Turkish side Eskişehirspor to pay a Ghanaian midfielder Kamal Issah €105,000 as part of contractual obligations in order to avoid any harsh punishment.
The Ghanaian international joined Eskişehirspor from another Turkish side Genclerbirligi during the January transfer.
But the 27-year-old could not continue the contract because the club failed to pay him his monthly salaries. He went on to ink a deal with Istanbulspor this summer.
Issah and his representatives took the matter to World Football football governing body – Fifa to seek justice, and Fifa has told Eskişehirspor to pay the player his outstanding salary of €105,000.
The Supa Liga 2 side have been instructed to make the payment to the player or face ban and possible relegation.
