Ghana premier league side, Dreams FC have expressed interest in securing the service of King Faisal marksman, Kwame Peprah.
The management of the Still Believe lads have officially written to Alhaji Grunsah’s side to inquire about the availability of their forward, Kwame Peprah.
Peprah is on the radar of several clubs in the West African country following his impressive performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
He has netted 8 goals in this season for King Faisal so far.
Percious Boah’s 33rd minute freekick at the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott handed Ghana a 1-0 victory over Gambia, sending the Black Satellites to the final of the Total Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Mauritania 2021.
Ghana laid revenge on the Gambians after losing 2-1 when they last met in the group stage matches in Noaudhibou, with the precious victory handing them a chance to vie for their fourth title at the Under-20 AFCON.
The Black Satellites sealed the deal in the opening half, going to the break a goal to the good and deservedly so after being the brightest off the blocks and creating the lion’s share of chances.
Boah took them 1-0 up in the 33rd minute with an expertly taken freekick, curling the ball beyond the wall and into the top left corner of Saidy Lamin’s goal.
It was the second time in the game that Boah was coming close with a freekick and this time, he ensured he had the ball on target and past the keeper. In the third minute, the burly forward struck his effort just wide from 20 yards out after dangerman Abdul Fatawu Isahaku was axed as he dribbled forward.
Ghana had started on the front foot from the first whistle and after Boah had threatened with a brilliant freekick, Fatawu lined up next with a well volleyed ball off Boah’s set up but the effort went wide.
In the 16th minute, Lamin was called up for work when he had to give a strong right palm to punch away a low drive from Fatawu off a freekick at the edge of the box.
Gambia had not threatened Danlad Ibrahim in the Ghanaian goal and the keeper’s first real test was in the 28th minute but he made light work of a Kajally Drammeh volleyed effort.
The Gambians however should have gone to the break on level terms after Danlad’s passing error which arrowed the ball straight into opponent legs in midfield.
However, Lamarana Jallow couldn’t control the ball well to strike at a gaping goalmouth while Momodou Bojang’s control also failed him as the ball landed on his feet inside the box when it was recycled.
At the start of the second half, the Young Scorpions were off to a better start and they threatened early with Wally Fofana’s well taken strike forcing a good save off Danlad in the Ghanaian goal.
Gambia had another chance with a freekick from good scoring range, but the chance was wasted with Jallow striking it straight to the wall.
Both teams made changes, Gambia bringing in Alieu Barry and Alagie Kujabi for Fofana and Ebou Camara. Ghana brought on Frank Boateng and Mathew Cudjoe in place of Emmanuel Esseiam and Mohamed Sulemana.
Gambia had most of the ball, bit sadly couldn’t find means to penetrate a stonewall Ghanaian defense.
Hearts of Oak have unveiled coach Samuel Boadu as the new head of their technical bench.
The 35-year-old replaces Serbian Kosta Papic – who resigned from the club after just three months in charge of the Ghanaian giants.

Two penalties missed ensured that the two sides played a barren draw at the Accra Sports Stafium.
The two goalkeepers Razak Abalora and Richard Attah were the heroes for their respective clubs as they saved a penalty each during the game.
Both sides squandered several goalscoring opportunities but Anabila believes his side deserved the maximum three points.
Speaking after the game, he said, “It was a tough game; we came in to win and unfortunately we had a draw.
“We were a bit down because we think we deserve to win this game because in the second half we created a lot of chances,” he said.
Kotoko and Hearts are tied on 24 points each after 16 rounds of matches but the Porcupine Warriors have two outstanding games against King Faisal and Bechem United.
The Black Satellites received a massive boost today as three injured players took part in the final training session for Monday’s semi-final game against Gambia.
Mohammed Sulemana, Patrick Mensah and Benjamin Aloma all returned to training alongside their teammates.
Sulemana missed the last game against Cameroon due to injury while Patrick Mensah had to be stretched out after suffering a cramp.
Benjamin Aloma who is yet to feature for the Black Satellites was trained actively today with the squad, offering Coach Karim Zito some boost ahead of the game.
During the Pre- match press conference held earlier on Sunday, Coach Zito revealed that three players are still carrying injuries and may not be ready for the game.
“We had about six players with various injuries but three are close to recovery and will take part in our final training session. The rest are still recovering from injuries”, Coach Zito explained.
Sampson Agyepong who suffered a concussion after colliding with a Moroccan player in the second group game, and Eric Appiah took part in a light training session.
Central defender Nathaniel Adjei is also receiving treatment by the medical team after missing out of the game against the Cameroonians.
The Black Satellites are poised to avenge the 1-2 defeat they suffered to the Gambians in the group stage and confirm qualification to the final match of the 2021 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito says his team will approach Monday’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations semi- final game against Gambia “like wounded tigers”.
The Black Satellites suffered a 1-2 defeat to Gambia in their final group stage match, a result that sent the National U20 team from top of group C to qualify as one of the best third placed teams.
Coach Zito is however confident that his side have identified their errors in the previous game and are out to win the game to book a place in the grand finale.
“Football is a game of uncertainties. There’s always an element of surprise and that’s what happened in the group stage against the Gambians.
“But we always have time to make amendments so meeting them again, what will in change our team is the character and attitude. You can expect that we will amend what we did wrong in the game we lost.”
“Africa football is changing. Previously you can easily say Ghana will beat Gambia but now their standard has improved. And there is always an element of surprise but now we are coming into this match like wounded tigers to secure a win”, the Black Satellites stated at the Pre- match press conference held on Sunday.
Coach Zito also revealed that the weather conditions in Nouadhibou affected his team’s consistency in the group stage.
“The weather conditions in Nouadhibou was one of the factors that affected us in the group stages.
“We had a problem adapting to the weather early but thankfully we have adapted now and we’ve been able to reach this stage of the competition.”
Coach Zito again reiterated that his team has been offered another opportunity to amend their errors in the group stage and stressed that the attitude for Monday’s game will never be same as the group stage.
“We saw a lot of things we weren’t happy with but the players showed a positive attitude against Cameroon which gave us the victory. It will be the same players but a lot will change and that will depend on me and my players”, he added.
The match is expected to kick off at 4pm at the Stade Olympique in Nouakchott.
Asante Kotoko galie Razak Abalora was voted man of the match in his side’s goalless draw against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The former WAFA goalkeeper committed a 70th-minute penalty on Phobian striker Isaac Mensah but Abalora made amends by saving Mensah’s kick to keep the game at 0-0.
Kwame Poku – who has scored 6 goals this season – missed the opportunity to break the deadlock under one minute and Mensah wasted his chance from 12 yards out in the 70th minute.
The former Elmina Sharks goalkeeper saved the penalty kick at a cost as he needed medical attention right away after the masterclass.
The next big chance for Kotoko – who played as the home team – came in the 32nd minute when Naby Keita shot over the bar after Latif Anabila squared a good ball for him in the area.
The second half began with both sides firing at each other. First, Razak fired a shot off target in the 49th minute before Kotoko’s Keita forced a save from goalkeeper Attah in the 50th. Porcupine Warriors captain Emmanuel Gyamfi’s also saw his effort in the 64th minute once again stopped by the influential Attah.
Hearts of Oak caretaker head coach Nii Noi brought on striker Isaac Mensah for Obeng Kojo at the hour mark before Michelle Sarpong replaced Victor Aidoo in the 69th minute. Mensah went on to earn his team a 70th-minute penalty as he was brought down by the Kotoko keeper Razak Abalora. The former Nkoranza Warriors striker came forward to take the kick but his poor effort was parried away by Abalora to keep the game at 0-0.
On the other hand Johnson Smith brought on midfielder Adom Frimpong for Emmanuel Sarkodie in the 57th minute before Mudasiru Salifu replaced striker Keita in the 62nd.
With six minutes from time Kwame Poku drifted away from center back Mohammed Alhassan to unleash a powerful strike that kissed the joint of the crossbar and right goal post of Richard Attah as the mammoth encounter failed to produce a winner.
