Asante Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi has signed a new one-year deal with the club after a fruitful negotiations.
The 26-year-old reached an agreement with the management of the club to extend his stay by signing a 12-month contract after his previous contract had expired on May 15.

He missed out of Mariano Barreto’s match-day squad for their last weekend’s fixture against Liberty Professionals in Sogakope.

Ignatius Osei-Fosu and his men are lying at the 15th position on the league standings with only one point above the relegation zone.
Only a victory over the Phobians will give Wonders a big cushion in their relegation dogfight.
Wonders have not managed a single victory in their last three matches having drawn twice and lost once in the process. They have just one win in the last 8 league games.
The reverse fixture saw the Techiman based side lose 2-0 to Hearts of Oak.
Osei-Fosu has a fully strength squad available to him for selection for Friday’s crucial duel.

Meanwhile, Hearts will be without slippery forward, Patrick Razak as he failed to pass a late fitness test. Nuru Sulley is still absent from the squad after he was red-carded in the 2-0 loss against Dreams FC. Larry Sumaila after a good shift performance in the absence of the captain of the side also misses out on the squad.
Ansah has still recovered fully from his groin injury even though he has started training.

Ivory Coast head coach Patrice Beaumelle has named a 24-man squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Ghana and Burkina Faso next month.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifications which were scheduled to take place in June has been postponed to September by CAF.
In effect, the Ivory Coast Football Federation has arranged friendlies with the Black Stars and the Stallions in place of the qualifiers.
The Elephants will take on Burkina Faso on 5 June 2021 in Abidjan before they face Ghana on 12 June 2021 in Cape Coast.
The Frenchman handed debut call-ups to six players namely; Hamed Junior Traore, Chris Vianney Bedia, Serge Arnaud Aka, Ismaila Wafougossani Soro, Hassane Kamara and Wilfried Singo.
Arsenal star Nicolas Pepe and AC Parma winger Gervinho Yao Kouassi were not listed in the squad announced on Thursday.
