According to the head of sports for Ark fm 107.1,the defender will join the Porcupine in Dubai for pre-season on Wednesday, 13 October 2021.
Charles Owusu will be Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s 13th signing this transfer window.

contingent of Players, Technical team, Management Members and other key officials have arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe for Ghana’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifier against Zimbabwe.
The Black Stars who dispatched their opponents 3-1 on Saturday departed Accra for Harare Sunday afternoon via Asky Airlines.
The team is led by President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku. He was joined by Black Stars Management Committee Chairman George Amoako, former Ghana International Samuel Osei Kuffuor – a Management Committee Member and Fred Pappoe, Management Committee Member.
Others included Deputy General Secretary Alex Asante, Chairman of the Central Regional Football Association Robert Duncan, Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association Daniel Agbogah and Director of Communications Henry Asante Twum.
Also making the trip were Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Evans Opoku Bobie (Hon.), Chief Director Alhaji Hafiz Adam and other senior figures from the Youth and Sports Ministry.
Ghana will later on Monday hold an official training at the National Sports stadium in Harare at 3pm.
The Match day four clash will take place at the National stadium in Harare at 1500Hrs on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
The Black Stars sit 2nd in Group G with 6 points – one point adrift of leaders South Africa after three round of matches.

Former Berekum Chelsea team captain Stephen Amankona wrote the following message on his official social media handle.
Amankona, 21, signed three -year contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko on the transfer deadline day.
He was one of the best in the league last season with a solid performance. He scored 11 goals, 5 assists out of 28 games as a forward-wing.
Amankona is likely to be a replacement for former Asante Kotoko Deputy Captain Emmanuel Gyamfi.

Ghana national Division One League side, Nkoranza Warriors have augmented their squad with the acquisition of youngster Ernest Kwame Osei Bonsu.
The 17-year-old forward moves to the second-tier side from Kumawu-based second division club Corinthians FC.
Bonsu was one of the exciting players in the Ghanaian second division league in the Ashanti Region last season and the Warriors have been although his side failed to qualify for the Division One.
The Zone One outfit has also completed the signing of Ghana U-20 winger Richard Kwabena Adjei from Accra City Stars.
The Warriors have also announced the capture of talented Centre-back Joseph Kwakye. The 20-year old defender joins them from fellow Division One League club Unity FC.
19-year-old talented winger Ebenezer Adu Kuma has also joined the side from the lower-tier side Razgold Soccer Academy.

AshantiGold have acquired the services of former Liberty Professionals talisman Kennedy Ashia, the club announced on Saturday, 9 October 2021.
The former Ghana youth star has penned a two-year contract with the Miners.
”’The former Liberty Professionals, SK Brann, Al Hilal and Welwalo University Adigrat player joins us on a 2 year deal,” a club statement read.
Ashia becomes the club’s fourth signing for the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

Bechem United have announced re-signing of former Ghana Premier League MVP and goal king Augustine Okrah on transfer deadline day.
The Hunters have handed the 28-year-old a one-year contract as he returns to the Nana Gyeabour Park.
A statement on the club’s Twitter account read: ”Bechem United is delighted to confirm the signing of Augustine Okrah.
”The Supercalifragilistic Forward returns to the club on a one-year deal.”
Okrah starred for Bechem United in the 2013/14 season where he banged in 16 goals.
He made 17 appearances for Kotoko last season where he scored one goal and provided three assists in the process.
Okrah has had stints at Sudanese duo Al Merrikh and Al Hilal, BK Hacken, Smouha SC and Indian club NorthEast United.

Ghana responded positively to Group G leaders South Africa’s 3-1 win over Ethiopia earlier in the day with an emphatic victory over Zimbabwe at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars were also 3-1 victors against the Warriors Saturday evening in their third-round game under new coach Milovan Rajevac.
Mohammed Kudus scored the only goal in the first half for Ghana before captain Knowledge Musona pulled parity for Zimbabwe three minutes into the second half from the spot.
Thomas Partey and Andre Ayew then scored two great goals to get Ghana back to winning ways after the defeat to South Africa in the second round last month.
