Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has named his men for the Premier League matchweek 21 clash against Eleven Wonders this afternoon.

The Reds are visiting the Sure Wonders at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park with Ogum making three changes to his squad that smashed Gold Stars 5-0 last weekend.

Kwame Baah replaces Black Stars-bound Danlad Ibrahim in post.

In defense, captain Abdul Ganiyu who picked up a knock during the warm-up session last Sunday Mubarik Yusif who isnt feeling well and will partner Andrews Appau.

Imoro Ibrahim who captained the team last Sunday in the absence of Ganiyu will start from the left side of defense with Augustine Agyapong who buried his late father few days ago operating from the opposite side.

Sheriff Mohammed maintains his place in midfield with Richard Boadu who comes in for Mudasiru Salifu for the second time running and will partner Richmond Lamptey in a three-man midfield.

The attack will see Stephen Amankona maintaining his place in the team and will operate from the right side with Dickson Afoakwa who comes in for the injured Georges Mfegue playing from the left wing with red-hot Franck Mbella Etouga leading the lines as usual.

Muntari said: “We have to believe in ourselves, things that we do at training we have to apply it here [in March situations].

“Normally when we start we do and then when we score, we relax again.

“So I think, two games that we scored and they equalizer and we scored again.

“So now I think we will be very cautious, we will be thinking of the right thing to do.” Sulley Muntari told StarTimes.

Muntari joined the Phobians on a free transfer until the end of the 2021/22 league season and has played 6 matches with a goal under his belt.

Hearts of Oak midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari has praised teammate, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh after his brace helped sink AshantiGold on Sunday.

The 2021 CAF U-20 AFCON winner shot the Phobians into the lead from the penalty spot with just 14 minutes into the week 21 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The visitors pulled level through Aminu Adams header at the 23rd minute but Barnieh’s stunning strike in the second half won all three points for the Phobians.

The goal, assisted by burly striker Kofi Kordzi, has left Muntari singing the praise of the young forward.

“It [the goal] was amazing, he is an amazing player, he is very good.

“He is very important for us so he getting two goals today is very important.

“His confidence will come back again, he is an amazing player, amazing talent, young one.

“So I’m really happy with his performance, I’m also here to make sure that I help him to grow, that’s my priority.” Muntari told StarTimes.

The win gives Hearts of Oak 32 points after 21 games but will remain in 6th position.

Kotoko will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form in the league after thrashing Gold Stars 5-0 last weekend.

Georges Mfegue who picked an injury during the Gold Stars game is out of the squad together with Augustine Agyapong who buried his father this weekend.

Isaac Oppong continues to be on the sidelines with recurring injuries. Clinton Opoku is back from injury but will not be part of the team for the game.

Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari was in a beast mode when Hearts of Oak defeated Ashantigold on Sunday night.

The 37-year-old dazzled at the Accra Sports stadium as he ended the first half with the most touches of the ball.

Muntari continued in the same vein in the second half and continued to be a pain in the middle of the park for the Miners.

The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner was replaced by Isaac Agyenim Boateng after enjoying 80 minutes of the game action.

Muntari has scored so far netted one goal and provided an assist in his 6 appearances for Hearts of Oak this season since signing a year long deal.
