A5 Rences pip Liberty Professionals 1-0 courtesy of a late strike from Emmanuel Tetteh. The hard fought win is one of the best games for Rences this season as they worked off their socks to overcome a stubborn Liberty Professionals side that showed character and resilience throughout the game. Tetteh swiftly outwitted the backline of the Scientific Soccer lads to smash home the match winner in the 90th minute as Rences cruised to a hard earned win.

Liberty Professionals were the better side in the second but lacked the cutting edge to punish their opponents until Tetteh’s stoppage time strike. Ebenezer Ashitey of A5 Rences was named the most valuable player of the match.

Elsewhere – Uncle T United stunned Attram De Visser 2-1 at the Tema Park. Alfred Amoah opened the scoring for Attram De Visser in the 29^th minute but their celebration was short lived as Richard Owusu equalized for Uncle T United in the 31^st minute. Back from recess, both sides dug deep to find the winner but luck tilted towards Uncle T United who scored through Stephen Agbekli in injury time – to win the points for Uncle T United. Richard Owusu was named the most valuable player of the match.

Still in Tema – FC Nania beat Tema Youth 2-1 to record a rare win the road after netting two second half goals to grab the points. The first half ended without a goal with both sides missing clear opportunities. Francis Kwabena scored in the 47th minute and doubled the lead in the 63rd minute for Nania FC before Pious Ahwaitey scored in the 72nd minute for Tema Youth.

The fixture between Na God FC and Tudu Mighty Jets  will be played at the Tema Park at 3pm on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Andrews Cobbinah and Baba Hamadu Musah scored in either half as Skyy FC defeated Basake Holy Stars 2-0 at  St. Martin’s Park, Daboase.

Cobbinah scored in the 44th minute to put the home team in the lead before Baba Hamadu Musah added the second goal in the 54th minute mark. Holy Stars troubled the host in key moments of the game but were let down by their finishing as Skyy FC held on to win the game. Emmanuel Fosu Kyei of Skyy FC was named the most valuable player of the match.

Abrankese-based Nations FC needed a goal from Ishmael Antwi to beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports complex. The first half didn’t produce any goal with Ishmael Antwi scoring in the 50th minute to earn the home team all the three points.

In Swedru – Collins Adjaho saved All Blacks from home defeat as he scored in the 71^st minute to cancel out Bernard Kesse’s 36th minute strike for Pacific Heroes as the two teams battled to a 1-1 draw at the Swedru stadium.

Zone One A leaders Techiman Eleven Wonders snatched one point from the jaws of Steadfast FC in their Matchday 24 fixture in the Access Bank Division One League at the Aliu Mahama stadium.

Steadfast looked determined to pick the points to close gap on the leaders but sheer determination was the trump card for Wonders who maintained their composure throughout the game. Chances were far and few in the opening half as Steadfast FC pressed for the opening goal but had nothing to show as the whistle blew for the end of the first half.

The game became even in the second half as both sides blew away some decent chances that came their way. Emmanuel Kontor of Steadfast FC was named the most valuable player after the game as Eleven Wonders maintain thei place at the top of the table.

In One B – Bofoakwa Tano won the points at home as they pip Nkoranza Warriors 1-0 at the Coronation Park. Sule Musah scored from the spot kick in the 79th minute to get the home team all the three points in the game. Bofoakwa Tano created chances in first half but failed to score. Bright Boakye Kyere of Bofoakwa Tano was named the most valuable player of the match.

The Wa derby ended in favor of Wa Yaasin as Benson Osei Kwaku scored in the 3^rd minute to give Wa Yaasin all the three points against Wa Suntaa at the Malik Jabir Park.
