Eric Donkor has penned an emotional farwell to Ghana Premier League outfit AshantiGold following the expiration of his contract.
According to the former Asante Kotoko captain, his failure to renew his stay with the Miners was not due to higher demands from the club, but feels it is time for him to continue the journey elsewhere.
Donkor has been impressive since he joined the the four-time league champions.
Reports in the media indicate the experienced defender could sign for Hearts of Oak.
