Paintsil’s impressive contributions saw him score 17 goals and provide 12 assists in the league, playing a vital role in Genk’s qualification for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League. His exceptional form propelled Genk’s campaign, with the team contending for the title until the final game of the season, ultimately secured by Royal Antwerp in the play-offs.
